Visigoth sportsnet

We created a lot of entertaining work built around that all-important question: What’s in your wallet? Dropping the Visigoths into modern-day life as total fish out of water gave us room to play across the full spectrum of humor and absurdity. We mixed in characters like Alec Baldwin and a lineup of NCAA coaches, which helped create some really memorable spots and kept Capital One and its portfolio of products right at the top of the category.

Through Capital One’s partnership with the NCAA, we dreamed up a fictional “sports network” that the Visigoths supposedly had all along. They’d been hearing about this “March Madness thing” and decided they wanted in, so they started promoting it on their channel in the only way they knew how. We created a bunch of special segments featuring NCAA coaches and built real momentum around March, all while keeping it firmly in the Visigoth world.
