I remember being a kid and getting completely lost in coloring with crayons. My mom used to say if I had a coloring book, I’d disappear for hours. I’d sit there figuring out colors, trying to shade things so they actually had some shape to them. Looking back, that was probably the start of all of this.
These days, it’s not that different… just swapped crayons for briefs. I still like getting deep into the problem, figuring out what the solution is, and then finding the right way to bring it to life so it truly connects. That’s the part that still gets me. Lately, that’s meant helping healthcare brands connect with real people in ways that feel honest and meaningful.
I’ve been lucky to spend time at some great shops, DDB, J. Walter Thompson, and Zipatoni, working on campaigns that got attention, picked up a few awards, and most importantly, did what they were supposed to do. Along the way, I’ve worked with brands like Capital One, Jim Beam, Oscar Mayer, Nabisco, and Safeway, across pretty much every channel you can think of.
When I’m not in concept mode, I’m usually sketching things no one asked for, messing around with photography, cooking something I’ve probably made too many times, or just seeing the world through the eyes of my twin boys.
